National Academy of Sciences President Responds to Challenge of Creation
A response from the President of the National Academy of Sciences, Dr. Frank Press, has just been received by Dr. Robert V. Gentry, who will speak on the subject, "Should Creation Science be Taught at UT?", this evening at 7:45 p.m. in the UT Alumni Gym.
An open letter to Dr. Press was published yesterday in the Knoxville News Sentinel (p. A-13), and Dr. Press's written response to this letter will be read to the audience by Gentry and discussed in detail at the close of his presentation. The following nationally acclaimed evolutionists have been sent a copy of the letter to Dr. Press, so that they will have the opportunity to present any published data which might refute Gentry's evidence, documented in his recent book, Creation's Tiny Mystery:
